Benzene Molecule Simulation

Benzene (C₆H₆)

Benzene is a hexagonal ring of six carbon atoms with alternating double bonds. The π electrons are delocalized across the entire ring, giving benzene its special stability (aromaticity).

This simulation shows:

  • Six carbon atoms (black spheres)
  • Six hydrogen atoms (light gray spheres)
  • Sigma (σ) bonds between atoms (gray lines)
  • Delocalized π electron cloud (yellow dashed ring)
