Osmosis Simulation
This simulation demonstrates Osmosis, the movement of solvent (water) molecules across a semipermeable membrane from an area of high solvent concentration (low solute) to an area of low solvent concentration (high solute).
Blue circles represent water molecules (solvent). Orange circles represent solute molecules (like sugar or salt).
The membrane in the middle allows water through but blocks solute. Adjust the initial solute concentrations on each side and click Start to observe osmosis.
